Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst Largely remote, with some travel to London & Manchester for workshops 6 months, outside IR35 to £470 per day Senior Business Analyst with demonstrable experience dealing with senior stakeholders from the Retail / Hospitality sector required for phase two of a workforce management / time & attendance project. The business is an SME with diverse business units, each with their own current policy, process and means of recording time and attendance and work scheduling, some of which are still manual. You will need to be persuasive and influence the senior operational team to get them to commit time to the requirements-gathering process and facilitate consensus amongst the team. Beyond the above, the role will involve: Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, HR, and operations, to gather and clarify requirements for the workforce management system.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure all stakeholder perspectives and ways of working are considered.
• Come to the meetings with a good understanding of what the art of the possible looks like in the WFM / T&A space with a clear view of expected business benefit and value, so that this can be weaved into all sessions with the business stakeholders.

• Facilitate and lead workshops to conduct thorough analysis of business processes related to workforce management, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and a consistent approach to policy and process across the business. There is no current tech in place for this purpose, so it will be a new way of working for the business.

• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into system specifications.
• Develop use cases, process flows, and wireframes to communicate design concepts clearly.

• Able to travel to London or Manchester occasionally for workshops or other relevant meetings. But otherwise work remotely.
• Experience as Lead / Senior Business Analyst with significant Workforce Management / WFM / Time & Attendance, Payroll or other HCM experience.
• Able to use that experience to share best practice and the art of the possible.
• Able to effectively facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and to win consensus.
• Able to lead a more Junior BA resource in time.
