Job Description: Institutional Business Manager (Sr. ABM/RBM Equivalent) Specializing in Transplant, Critical Care, and/or Infection Control About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Institutional Business Manager to spearhead our hospital sales initiatives. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth, nurturing relationships with healthcare institutions, and promoting our innovative products/services tailored to the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in concept selling within the Transplant, Critical Care, or Infection Control domains , along with a proven track record in building strategic partnerships with private and government hospitals. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the healthcare market in assigned territories and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and prioritize key healthcare institutions, including hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and long-term care facilities, as potential clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers to understand client needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing, etc.) to create tailored solutions and compelling value propositions for healthcare clients.
- Design and deliver pricing strategies, proposals, and presentations that effectively position products/services to win contracts.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in all sales activities.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bio-Medical Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 5+ years of experience in healthcare or medical device sales , specializing in Institutional Sales or Key Account Management, with a proven record of exceeding targets.
- Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including delivery systems, payer dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends.
- Experience in Transplant, CTVS (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery), or Infection Control segments is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to connect with healthcare clients at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute sales plans for market penetration and revenue growth.
- Analytical and entrepreneurial approach to interpreting data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.
