Role: Associate / Sr Associate - Finance Location: Bangalore About Give Give exists to alleviate poverty by enabling the world to give. Established in 2000, it is the largest and most trusted giving platform in India. Give (earlier GiveIndia) is a highly respected intermediary organization within the Indian social impact space. Give has three operating divisions -

  1. Give.do - focused on making retail giving bigger, give.do operates a crowdfunding platform offering one-time and recurring giving options for 3000+ onboarded and verified NGOs.
  2. Give Grants - focused on making CSR giving better, Give Grants works with more than 100 corporates to make their CSR more impactful. Offerings include a CSR management tech platform (offered as a SaaS platform with recurring annual licence fee, and add on services), and a wide range of CSR management and impact assessment services.
  3. Give Discover - a platform of choice for verified NGO information. It currently has more than 57000 NGO profiles, and conducts 500+ detailed due diligences every year.
More details for all of the above are available at Our values: integrity in everything we do : empathy towards all : serve with passion : focused on scale About the Role: Responsibilities: 1) Tally and Zoho based bookkeeping for multiple entities and review of ledger balances 2) Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure complete documentation for all vendor payments and deployment of funds 3) Complete ownership of accounts receivables and payables operations, across all product lines 4) Coordinating with multiple banks for daily operations, treasury management 5) Payroll processing and regulatory compliances under labour law 6) Overseeing the reimbursement claims of internal stakeholders and managing credit card payments 7) All periodic filings - TDS, GST etc with the help of external agencies 8) Support all regulatory compliances, licence renewals, MCA filings with the help of external agencies 9) Continuous automation of processes in partnership with the tech team to allow higher scale and higher efficiency 10) Support other Finance team members to achieve department goals Requirements: 1) Hands-on contributor with a strong knowledge of accounting and the ability to run accounting operations at scale 2) Must be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years’ experience or accounting / commerce post-graduate from premier institutes with consistently strong academic credentials with 5 years’ experience 3) Preference for individuals with experience in Tier 1 corporates or Tier 1 accounting firms 4) Experience in the SaaS industry would be an added advantage 5) Hands-on contributor with a strong knowledge of accounting and payroll processing 6) A growth and learning mindset, high energy and passion for doing impactful work. 7) Comfort in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment, with regular stretch requirements 8) Ability to handle advanced excel and google sheets 9) High comfort with technology and the ability to automate accounting processes 10) Able to solve complex problems 11) Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships 12) Strong interpersonal skills 13) High level of commercial acumen 14) Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages including Tally ERP / Tally Prime and Zoho books 15) Must be based in Bangalore
