Job Title: Heroku Developer Location: Noida (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Experience : 4 years Job Summary: As a Heroku Developer with 4+ years of experience, you will manage, develop, and deploy applications on the Heroku platform. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. You will also collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure that business requirements are met with high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Heroku Application Development: Design, implement, and maintain applications on the Heroku platform using various programming languages, frameworks, and Heroku services.
• CI/CD Pipeline Setup & Management: Establish and maintain automated deployment pipelines for continuous integration and delivery on Heroku.
• Application Optimization: Optimize the performance of cloud-based applications by tuning infrastructure, database configurations, and web services.
• Database Management: Manage and scale Heroku Postgres and other data storage solutions; ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues, outages, and bugs.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, and product managers to develop high-quality software solutions and enhance existing systems.
• Stay Updated with Heroku Features: Continuously learn about new features and best practices for using Heroku, and implement them into existing infrastructure when necessary.
• Ensure Security & Compliance: Ensure all Heroku applications and data are secure, compliant with industry standards, and adhere to company security policies.
• Documentation & Reporting: Write concise technical documentation and provide regular updates and reports on development progress and project status.

• 4+ years of experience in Heroku application development and deployment.
• Strong experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Ruby, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java).
• Proficiency with Heroku platform services (e.g., Heroku Postgres, Redis, Heroku Connect).
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience with Git and version control systems, as well as deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Heroku add-ons and third-party integrations (e.g., SendGrid, Papertrail, Sentry).
• Expertise in scaling applications and databases in a cloud environment.
• Experience with cloud architecture, API development, and microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, particularly in cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and data privacy laws.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
