Role – Sr. Linux Server Administrator Experience: 5 to 8 years Location: Coimbatore, Mumbai , Chennai , Bangalore and Hyderabad Job Description · Extensive hands-on experience on RHEL / Ubuntu / Suse enterprise servers. · Escalating if unknown error is detected · Configuration changes to Servers · Backup& Restore Management · Validating the backups · Antivirus Updates & Console Monitor · Critical Incident management · Server Patching · Server upgrade / migrations · Good Communication skills · Perform capacity monitoring, analysis and tuning activities · Implement capacity-related changes · Identify Risks & prepare Mitigation plan · Identifying what Patches to be deployed · Threshold fine tuning and Management · Identify and understand the Vulnerability scan report and create plan to mitigate · Decommissioning of Servers Mandatory Leaf Skills · Experience in administering Linux Server operating systems (RHEL / Ubuntu / Suse)· Monitoring server resources and server health · Monitoring server logs (Event logs)· Configuring backup policies · Create Change plans · Define monitoring parameters · Server Patching Upskilling Tracks (Flexible tracks to make combinations) Track 1: Operations · Time sync (NTP) configurations · Cluster Configuration & Administration · Cron job automation · Kernel patching · Identify tasks for automation and create scripts · Create RCA and work on Problem Management · Perform capacity monitoring, analysis and tuning activities Track 2: Transformation · OS upgrades · VM Migrations across platforms Track 3: Cloud Ops · Administration of Azure / AWS / GCP Cloud Useful Certifications (Equivalent LTIM 201 Training)· RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE)· Shell Scripting · Python · Configuration tools (Ansible, Chef and puppet)
