The High Voltage Products Business Line is focused on partnering with OEM and Tier1 customers to create and deliver cutting edge digital power converter solutions in the automotive and industrial application space such as Server PSU, Telecom PSUs, Solar & EVHEV AC/DC & DC/DC power supplies etc. Our business is witnessing tremendous growth owing to need for high power density, high efficiency, low noise/EMI and cost optimized solution in this application space. This is a highly visible role for a Applications/Firmware Engineering Lead with 7+ years of experience who designs leading-edge embedded hardware and firmware solutions of digital power supply, influence new generation digital power controller definition, support validation of new chip features in coordination with designers and system architecture engineer. The ideal candidate needs to have rich experience in architecting, testing and validating and/or designing real-time firmware & be familiar with digital power supply system. The Applications lead will also work closely with customers, systems, field and marketing teams to understand the customer’s application needs and translate them into best in class winning solutions. You may also spend hands-on time in a TI lab tackling problems and delivering innovative development solutions that support our products and drive revenue. Responsibilities :
- Develops architectures and designs easy-to-use, easy-to-learn and easy-to-adopt real-time demo code for the worldwide digital power customers using ARM based TI digital power controllers.
- Proactively provide technical training/support to WW key customers to support different phases of the design-in process.
- Consult with Systems and Designs to define common customer features/designs for new product definition
- Train FAEs on products.
- Work with marketing and systems to support competitive analysis.
- Evaluate customer returns to recreate issue and provide recommendations.
- Support on-site and off-site customer board bring-up and debug camps.
- Own online forum support and provide prompt and meaningful response.
