Position: PCR DIRECTOR News Production, Republic TV Vacancies: 2 Location: Sector 158, Noida The requirement for every Director in the PCR is to be highly competitive on the news, be on top of the news in terms of its understanding, be swift in putting the most visually rich and pacey content on air, and have solid and strong communication skills to different departments from the PCR. Directors must have the ability to sync completely with the rest of the PCR team, the Rundown Editor and the News Desk on Input and Output, and seamlessly manage strong communication with anchors, reporters and Editors on the flow on-air. Directors/Panel Producers:

  • Candidates must have 3-6 years of experience in Directing in a News PCR
  • Candidates must have proven hands-on experience in working with:
  • CONTENT VIZ PILOT
  • VIZRT for Motion Graphics
  • AVID AIRSPEED for Play out operations
  • Candidates must be adept in understanding and vivid expertise in I-News (or alike)
  • Candidates must be swift and intuitive in their communication with the PCR crew including the vision mixer, audio mixer, CAO person, as well as the input and output desk.
  • Candidates must be proficient in studio management, proficiency in Camera shots, anchor movements and lighting methods for both In-Studios, Newsroom and Outdoor Shoots
  • Candidates must be highly innovative and have an eye for visuals across the news wheel and formats of live and recorded on-air content
  • Candidates must have the ability to handle solid management and communication skills but also have the content confidence to constantly direct the Anchor and on-air team to put the best content on air within the competitive environment
  • Candidates must be thorough professionals, understand the 24/7 news environment and be fuelled by the excitement of the news
  • Candidates must be highly energetic and have a razor focus on attention to detail within the live and breaking cycle
