Visualisation Developer/Lead

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in the following: Reporting, Analytics, Data Visualization (Tableau, PBI) and SQL
• Advanced SQL skills are mandatory. Ability to write complex SQL queries to query large amounts of data, query optimisation and tuning.
• Proficient in designing and developing interactive dashboards using Tableau.
• Good Data warehousing experience and understanding data warehouse concepts
• Understand high-level business objectives and continually align the BI/Reporting roadmap to needs of the business
• Strong oral and written communication and consultative skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
• Advanced exploratory data analysis skills using SQL, Excel etc.

Must have Skills

• Minimum of 6+years authoring high performing, reliable, scalable and secure data visualizations and dashboards
• Strong SQL knowledge is a must. Experience designing database schemas and optimizing query performance is required
• Must have strong experience in Financial Services utilising tools and systems on the MS SQL Server BI Stack, including PowerBI, Power Query, Power app, MDX, DAX, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Tableau.
• SSRS/SSIS experience is preferable.
• Ability to interpret database schema for extracting data for reports
• Deep understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design
• Experience with exporting and integrating PowerBI reports with other platforms
• Organised with a proven ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and utilise time effectively
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills is required
• Someone who can lead the team.
