The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services essential for our company's operations . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all purchases meet quality standards while adhering to budgetary constraints. Tasks & Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales/customer service to understand their requirements and gather information for supplier quotations. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries. Source and negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers from both local and overseas, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of incoming shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards. Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. Prepare quotations for our Tender Customers. Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and product availability to anticipate potential shortages or cost increases. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing operations. Any ad-hoc project as required from supervisor to accommodate the company's rapid growth. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (Preferred) Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive, Purchasing Officer, or similar role in Food & Beverage for at least 3 years. In-depth knowledge of Canned Food | Dried Goods products, quality standards, and industry trends. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve purchasing-related issues. Understanding of basic food safety regulations, quality control processes, and Halal standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
