Job Title: Virtual Assistant - Customer Service & Operations Location: Remote Monthly Salary: $1, 000 USD Working Hours: 9am - 5pm EST Role Overview We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our customer service and operational processes. This role will primarily focus on customer service (80%) with a secondary emphasis on flexible support tasks related to retail operations and direction-based duties (20%). The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling backend tasks, resolving customer inquiries, and managing operational needs in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service (80%):

  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone.
  • Assist customers with order-related issues, including processing refunds, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot operational or technical problems that may arise with customer orders or systems.
  • Document customer feedback and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
Operations & Backend Support (20%):
  • Manage and monitor order processing, ensuring items are correctly marked, shipped, and delivered.
  • Handle backend tasks such as removing items from hold, updating stock availability, and ensuring product data is accurate in the system.
  • Support retail-related tasks such as inventory management, product listings, or data entry.
Requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.
  • Operational knowledge: Ability to understand and manage retail/operational tasks (e.g., taking items off hold, updating stock).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or virtual assistant role, with a solid understanding of back-end retail operations.
  • Familiarity with common customer service tools (e.g., email management, live chat platforms) and operational systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
