Infineon is a leader in automotive semiconductor innovation. We are building a new team in Cork to work on our Automotive Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) products for applications in battery management, smart sensing, and human-machine interfaces (HMI). We are looking for applications from candidates with analog design, digital design, digital verification, mixed signal verification, chip-level integration, project management, and ISO safety requirements experience. In this group, you will be part of a small, agile team working together on taking customer requirements and implementing them into the next generation of Infineon automotive products. This team will work closely with and complement our existing experienced PSoC teams in the US, Japan, and India. You will be part of a highly dynamic and interactive team environment, where you will be able to collaborate with like-minded individuals and work towards achieving common goals.In your new role you will:Participate in planning and scheduling of development projectPerform circuit and system design feasibility for required features/functions/performanceDevelop schematics for circuit blocks and verify features/functions/performance with simulationPerform layout or work with layout design group for physical implementation of circuit blocksGenerate collateral for circuit blocks as required by the chip integration flow, this may include LEF, dotlib, behavioral, and EMIR supporting viewsDocument all aspects of developed circuit blocks per the IP flow specificationsPerform test development collateral for circuit blocks including test vectorsExecute testing and debug of circuit block behavior and performance with silicon productMake corrections to circuit blocks as neededAssist with capturing learning resulting from debug and correction of circuit blocksEngage in cross-organizational communication related to definition and execution of circuit blocksYou are best equipped for this task if you have:2 to 4 years of experience with PhD EEor3 to 5 years of experience with MS EEor5 to 7 years of experience with BS EEFamiliarity with analog and linear circuit design.Experience with converter, amplifier, reference, regulator, or oscillator design with demonstrated working circuit results.Fluency in English.Candidates with a lot of energy, curiosity, and desire to learn will love it here!Contact:Carlos Ribeiro, LinkedIn#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
