Stellenbeschreibung

As Head of Process Development at Miltenyi Bioindustry, you will lead a group driving the technical development of cells and vectors for our customers. The focus is on cell and gene therapy as well as lentiviral vector services implemented on our advanced in-house platforms, e.g. automated cell processing or flow cytometry.

• You are responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of our services as well as the representation of our services to customers
• This includes the development and establishment of novel processes or assays for CAR-T, NK, HSC cell therapies and vectors as well as the transfer and optimisation of customer projects
• Resource management, project tracking and customer interaction are also part of the role
• You build the team and lead and develop several groups of scientists from different Bioindustry sites
• You also optimise and develop our service offering, taking into account state-of-the-art technologies and market needs
• Working closely with other Bioindustry teams such as Manufacturing, MSAT or Quality Control groups as well as R&D or Regulatory Affairs is also an exciting part of the role

Qualifikationen

• You will have successfully completed your PhD or medical degree, preferably with post-doctoral training, and have in-depth expertise in cell and vector development, with an understanding of regulatory requirements
• In addition, you will have a proven track record of managing scientific and/or drug development programmes and several years of experience, ideally in the pharma/biotech industry
• In your previous roles, you have led teams to success by identifying and developing talent and delegating effectively
• You are creative, goal-orientated and able to work both independently and across disciplines. You also welcome new challenges
• Excellent communication skills in English round off your profile
