Your new role As our Clinical Incident Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of excellence within our organisation. You will lead the investigation and analysis of clinical incidents using your insights to drive meaningful improvements and prevent future occurrences. Your expertise will not only influence policy and protocol but will also directly impact patient outcome. Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure completed incident investigations adhere to internal policies procedures & guidelines
- Correctly & thoroughly document incident investigation information in all required systems
- Perform related duties and projects as assigned by your manager to assist in ensuring the maintenance of highquality standards for Healthcare Australia
- Support the Workforce Team/s to maintain the required level of compliance in line with the Healthcare Australia minimum standards
- Collaborate with the internal stakeholders in relation to incident investigation requirements
- Provide coaching & advice to internal staff to support correct incident reporting processes being followed and to improve incident reporting culture
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in incident complaint & performance management
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting acute care (ED ICU Med/Surg) or aged care environment including management and/or compliance activities
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills related to data analysis
- Welldeveloped organisational skills including the ability to plan prioritise and manage competing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Moderate to advanced computer literacy advanced MS Office skills and ability to use incident management software
- Initiative flexibility and strong attention to detail
- AHPRA Registered Health Practitioner (recency of practice desirable)
- Incident Investigation Management (or related) credentials (desirable)
