Senior Application Specialist - Power Platform / D365 - York (hybrid / remote) Overview #TeamCandour are once again partnered with a global financial services giant to source a Senior Application Specialist to play a pivotal role in leading the adoption of Microsoft D365 CE and the Power Platform suite. You will work closely with business stakeholders to create innovative solutions using Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, focusing on low/no-code development. - Lead a small team of application specialists to develop solutions using the Power Platform
- Refine and develop requirements into solutions, balancing conflicting requirements across different workstreams
- Ensure the quality of D365 solutions and provide continuous maintenance and improvement
- Develop an appropriate governance model for the CoE and the wider business
- Provide direction and support to colleagues across the business and act as an SME for Microsoft D365 and Power Platform
- Proven track record in the development of D365 and Power Platform applications and solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform
- Experience with leading people and a drive to develop technical skills
- Understanding of Azure cloud technology and the Azure security model
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay current with the latest technologies and trends
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to the team
- Design, develop, and deliver Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform components
- Support the Engineering team in the development of extensions or integrations
- Ensure ongoing support and further development for deployed solutions
