Assistant Manager Production

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess a degree preferably in Chemical Engineering.
2. At least five (5) years relevant working experience in continuous or batch chemical process manufacturing environment, refinery/distillation – edible/petroleum/chemical or any other related field with proven track record.
3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
4. Matured, analytical, self-starter and independent
5. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
6. Competent person in CePIETSO-BP will be an advantage.

1. Ensure the right quality and quantity of production.
2. Ensure the record keeping and samplings are done properly for quality analysis.
3. Liaise with subordinates to understand and solve problems arising.
4. Monitor and maintain data analysis for any process improvement.
5. Execute daily operations following ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ to reduce risk when working.
6. Represent Production Department when liaising with other departments for repair works, troubleshooting, quality reassurance etc. to ensure optimum condition of the plant.
7. Screen, plan and authorize other works in areas inside the plant accordingly with minimum downtime or no disturbance to production.
8. Prepare incident report involving people, Company properties or production loss inside the premises within 24 hours for immediate action.
9. Ensure all emissions from the premises are within specifications of the Department of Environment regulations for a healthy environment.
10. Administer and plan the manpower for shifts for smooth and conducive working environment.
11. Manage the workforce for any breakdowns or emergency shutdowns based on requirements.
12. Handling waste water treatment operation.
13. Ensure the legal compliance with respect to permit and licenses
14. Ensure HSSE regulations are fully complied with.
