- Perform analysis on market/industry trends for new product development and enhancement.
- Collect and compile competitors’ information including features, performance, energy consumption, accreditation obtained, price, and meet with the development team to discuss product ideas.
- Monitor and ensure on-time launching of new products and work with various departments for new product trial runs.
- Develop design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research to execute sales/marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Work with R&D and customers for data submission for various accreditation/certifications.
- Lead and monitor the development team and processes to ensure on-time launching of new products and conduct product training for distributors, dealers, and consultants.
- Provide efficient and excellent information via business portal for any product news, i.e., new products or product changes.
- Ensure effective communication with other departments, i.e., Production, Regional Sales Personnel, Material Control, and R&D Centre for on-time product launching.
- Ensure all products launched to market have sufficient information/supporting tools and carry out necessary training for in-house staff as well as customers.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering or any equivalent qualifications with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or second class upper.
- Good project management skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, outgoing, and sporting personality.
- Added advantage if possessing basic knowledge in air conditioning.
