Megapower Consultants provides both consulting and supervising services for electrical and mechanical system with more than 25 years of experience in various construction projects. Our company undertakes planning, design, cost estimate, adjudication, supervision, management, co-ordination and commissioning of various industrial factories, warehouses, commercial buildings, residential houses etc. The candidate will have sufficient knowledge on modern electrical engineering practice including the principles of operation of equipment usedfor generation, transmission, distribution,utilization, protection and metering in electrical installationsand energy efficiencymanagement.
Job Responsibilities:
- To inspect electrical installation (switchgear, transformer, main switchboard, etc) for industrial factories.
- To take readings of voltage, current and power factor, as well as conducting visual inspection to comply to Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.
- To communicate and report to clients about electrical faults and defects.
- To prepare service reports and Borang-I for Suruhanjaya Tenaga submission.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineeringor equivalent practical experience.
- Possess a JEK Competency Certificate or PE Competency Certificate registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- 7+ year(s) work experiences in in an environment where there is handling of electrical equipment and has experience of controlling live equipment.
- Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and any regulations made thereunder.
- Able to travel daily within state and interstates.
- Able to work independently and liaise effectively with clients.
- Good command of English and Malay in speaking, reading, and writing.
