We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse* *(Casual) *to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities. *Facility Address: *Shaughnessy Seniors Community *Location:* 2250 Wilson Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 1Z5*Position Details: ** Casual _(create your own schedule)_*Compensation: $32.84 per hour**Responsibilities** Performs assessments. * Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. * Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures * Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs. * Performs other duties as assigned. *Qualifications** Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. * Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. * Current CPR and First Aid certification. * Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. * Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). * Cultural education and experience are preferred Job Type: Casual Pay: From $32.84 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Flexible schedule Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Are you available to start as soon as possible?* Please provide your BCCN&M registry number (required) Experience: * senior care: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * BCCN&M Registration (required) Work Location: In person
