Job Description: Manufacturing Engineering Purpose / Objective: Work with cross-functional teams to Test, Validate, and Roll-out Equipment to production Specialized Expertise: The role demands a leader with demonstrated experience in manufacturing and automation design, particularly in Automated lines and Heavy Equipment with Robotics and Gantry automations. Given the unique challenges and complexities associated with setting up completely new set of equipment, the candidate can support the ME Team in ramping equipment to manufacturing for the production line. Strategic Alignment: As our Giga Factory is first of its size, parallel ramping of 500 odd equipment require experienced hands to define equipment specifications to technology provider and ensure critical process control. Co-ordination with project facilities team is crucial to for meeting facility, power, air, and environmental requirements. The complexity of the equipment necessitates a deep understanding of process and equipment integration, making hiring for this position crucial to achieving our operational goals. Roles and Responsibility: ❖Shop Floor Leadership ❖Equipment Supplier Management ❖Cross-functional Collaboration ❖IT Integration & MES Adoption ❖RFP, RFQ Creation & PO Coordination ❖Manufacturing feasibility in existing production lines ❖Equipment Design & Product Feasibility ❖Integrating Equipment and Process Mandatory Skills: ❖Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operation/Maintenance Management, or a related field ❖Proven track record of successful leadership in a high-volumne manufacturing environment, knowledge of data analysis, statistics, SPC, RCA and expertise in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD softwares ❖In-depth understanding of automation systems, mechanical engineering, PLCs, robotics, data collection systems, cutting-edge equipment, and evolving technologies ❖Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams towards operational excellence, bringing out the best in each team member ❖Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, honed through practical experience in navigating complex manufacturing scenarios ❖Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards, with a track record of flawless compliance ❖Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering an inclusive communicative environment Desired Skills: Experience with Li-ion cell production, Automotive or Automotive Ancillary, Chemical or Tyre Industry Note:
