Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Head to lead our freight forwarding division. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record of managing and scaling business operations. This position requires strategic leadership, operational expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:-1.Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall business strategy for the freight forwarding division. Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets. Ensure alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and objectives. 2.Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Drive sales and revenue targets by expanding the customer base and service portfolio. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors. 3.Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and land logistics. Ensure seamless coordination between teams for timely and cost-effective service delivery. Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. 4.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team across sales, operations, and support functions. Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. 5.Financial Management: Prepare and manage the business unit’s budget and P&L. Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability. Implement cost-control measures and maximize ROI. 6.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks related to operations and business growth. 7.Market Insights and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Leverage technology and innovation to enhance service offerings and customer experience. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with industry standards. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). 2. 10-15 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. 3 .Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and freight operations. 4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. 5. Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitability. 6 .Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach. 7.
