Job Title: Valve Sales Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in various industries. Generate leads, schedule client meetings, and present product offerings. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets. 2. Technical Consultation: Work with customers to understand their valve requirements and provide tailored solutions. Provide technical support and recommendations based on client specifications, application requirements, and system compatibility. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate clients on valve features and usage. 3. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Follow up on leads, quotations, and proposals to secure orders. Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the company for pre- and post-sales activities. 4. Market Research & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer demands to identify new business opportunities. Prepare sales forecasts, customer activity reports, and provide feedback to improve product offerings. Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote products. 5. Technical Proficiency & Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the technical specifications, applications, and features of various types of valves (e.g., ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves). Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve technical inquiries and ensure that clients receive suitable products. Provide insights into product improvements based on client feedback and field observations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree & Experience is sales field of HVAC project sales or related field 2+ years of experience in sales or technical support within the industrial or valve industry is preferred. Strong understanding of valve types, specifications, and applications in various industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and travel to client locations as needed. Skills: Proficiency in CRM and sales management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset. Technical proficiency in reading engineering specifications and blueprints.
