Senior Software Engineer

What You Will Do In this role you will be a key part of the team and responsible for Pebble’s engineering output and serve as a key technical partner across the team. You will leverage modern frameworks, well placed 3rd party tools and your own expertise as a developer to drive high output across the entire Pebble Team. Both providing technical direction and contributing yourself. About You

• You're a product-minded engineer who loves understanding the users and business problems behind your code.
• You're a builder who loves to move fast, using existing building blocks wherever possible.
• You're familiar with the tradeoffs between building for speed and code quality, buying products where it makes sense.
• You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable with adapting, running tests, and driving outcomes.
• You’re a strong communicator, that’s used to working in remote and hybrid/remote teams
• You're proactive with a strong bias to making things happen"
• You've built other data-heavy API platforms that connect to many partners and surfaces that are performant and stable.
• You’re a full stack/back-end focused engineer that is comfortable making architectural decisions and setting/managing up data infrastructure.
• An experienced founding engineer who thrives in early stage environments and going from zero to one.
• Ready to roll up your sleeves and build with a team that’s committed to delivering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mindset, and effective team collaboration ability.
