Job Description Advanced System Administrator Position Summary We are seeking an experienced engineer with expertise in Citrix and Azure technologies. This individual will design, implement, manage, and support Citrix and Azure environments to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operations supporting core organizational functions. The ideal candidate will bring advanced system administration skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to handle staffing needs and support day-to-day cloud operations. Education and Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience: 4+ years of experience in administering and supporting Citrix environments. 3+ years of experience with Azure. 4+ years in an IT or related role. • Certifications: Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V) or higher (e.g., CCA-V, CCE-V). Azure certifications, including AZ-800 and AZ-801, are mandatory. Responsibilities

• Monitoring Azure resources, analyzing performance metrics, and generating basic reports.
• To identify and resolve common Azure issues, escalating more complex problems to higher tiers when necessary.
• Set up and manage Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and basic network configurations.
• Work seamlessly with a team, supporting and contributing to projects under supervision.
• Support Azure-related projects, driving successful outcomes and collaborating effectively with your team.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities Citrix Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. Configure and manage Citrix policies, profiles, and user environments. Deploy and configure Citrix ADC for load balancing and secure remote access. Administration and Maintenance: Administer and maintain Citrix infrastructure, including updates, patches, and upgrades. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Citrix-related issues. Monitor and optimize Citrix environments for performance, reliability, and scalability. Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Manage and maintain Citrix licensing. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other systems. Document procedures, configurations, and solutions, and provide guidance to junior team members. Azure Responsibilities: Basic Operations and Monitoring: Monitor Azure resources, analyze performance metrics, and generate basic reports. Manage Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and basic network configurations. Support and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve common Azure issues and escalate complex problems as necessary. Perform initial troubleshooting on advanced networking, security, and identity management. Security and Optimization: Fine-tune Azure resources, implement automation, and optimize cloud costs. Ensure robust security measures, implement access controls, and adhere to compliance standards. Advanced Cloud Operations: Design and implement scalable and resilient Azure architectures. Independently handle intricate Azure issues and provide innovative solutions. Relevant Additional Information Longevity and commitment in previous work Team player. Experience with Citrix Endpoint Management. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Must be open to 24x7 work shifts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must be flexible with work location, as decided by organizational requirements. Willingness to work on-site as needed.
