We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst for our Business Development Team to join and drive in-licensing opportunities for generic drug products in the European markets . In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, evaluating, and securing licensing deals that align with our strategic goals and therapeutic focus areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify & Evaluate In-Licensing Opportunities : Conduct in-depth market research to identify promising generic products in line with company strategy. Stay ahead of emerging trends and regulatory changes in the European market.
- Competitive & Market Analysis : Analyze competitor strategies, market dynamics, and potential opportunities to inform licensing decisions.
- Strategic Development : Contribute to the development and implementation of in-licensing strategies, ensuring alignment with industry trends and organizational objectives.
- Licensing Negotiations : Lead the negotiation process with potential licensors, securing favorable terms and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (Sales, BD, Regulatory, and Project Management) and external partners to ensure successful product launches and smooth execution.
- Project Management : Support the monitoring of project timelines, budgets, and overall progress, identifying and addressing potential issues that may arise.
- Build & Manage Relationships : Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with external partners, maintaining open lines of communication and collaboration.
- Strong Analytical & Financial Modelling Skills : Ability to assess market potential and profitability, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent Negotiation & Communication : Proficient in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to negotiate favorable licensing terms.
- Project & Team Management : Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful launch of licensed products.
- Proactive & Results-Driven : Self-motivated with a passion for driving success and achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of European Pharmaceutical Market : Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and the competitive landscape in the European pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Software Proficiency : Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and relevant industry tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a reputed pharmaceutical company, preferably in business analytics and business development for generic drugs.
