Network Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent or demonstrated skill and/or related industry experience. Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in Network Engineer, Wireless Willing to work in Rotational Shift Job Responsibilities: • Good Networking Concepts like OSI model, TCP/IP,(Logical Link Control, Flow Control, Link Negotiation)• Good Ethernet Concepts and Cablings. • Good understanding on Networking concepts like VLAN's, STP, LACP, ARP, Port security, BPDU guard, Root Guard, DHCP-relay, 802.1x, EAP, RADIUS, OSFP same area/ABR/ASBR, OSPF LSA types, OSPF stages of neighborship, static-routing, BGP, BGP communities, Aggregation of routes using BGP, Policy based routing, OSPF summarization, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Trap notification, Dos attack types and mitigation are mandatory. • Understanding on functions of network devices switches, routers. • Bridging and Switching Concepts, LAN Technologies such as Ethernet - CSMA/CD STP. • STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN tagging. • Remote access protocol knowledge such as SSH, telnet, FTP. • Good Knowledge in Routing concepts, with Good knowledge in Routing Protocols like: RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP • Server Concepts and working knowledge in DHCP, DNS, Radius, SNMP, web server etc. • knowledge of Linux based Operation Systems, and windows servers(NPS, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP etc)• Knowledge of different operations • Detailed analyzing of the packets using Wireshark, TCP dump etc. Process expectations: • Should be good and fluent in speaking English and good at communication. • Good Analytical and troubleshooting abilities • Self-starter and good team player • Contribute to the knowledge base/ Tech Forum. • Document all communication with customers in the CRM • Willingness to work in international time zones • Proactive, with the ability to work on his/her own initiative
