What the role is: The Strategic Communications & Engagement Division (SCED) oversees the planning, development and execution of public communication strategies and public engagements as well as the management of MND’s social media strategies and platforms to communicate the Ministry’s policies and programmes. SCED’s communications and outreach functions include issues management, media relations, digital communications, events management, marketing communications, publications, and stakeholder engagement. These functions are conducted in an integrated manner to maximise MND’s communications and outreach efforts and to ensure greater synergies across the MND family agencies. What you will be working on: Customer Service & Case Management Handle public queries through multiple channels including: Phone calls Email Social media Other touchpoints Service Operational Management Manage day-to-day email operations Assist in daily triaging of incoming queries Perform case assignment to officers-in-charge Generate basic reports using data management tools Additional Responsibilities Manage project administrative matters Undertake other ad hoc duties as required What we are looking for: Prior experience in Quality Service Management (QSM) work Experience working in similar Ministry or government agency setups Ability to manage high volumes of cases and compile simple data reports using data management tools Proficiency in Excel for data entry, tracking, and generating basic reports Excellent communication skills Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment About Ministry of National Development The Ministry of National Development (MND), the lead government agency responsible for land use planning and infrastructure development, aims to transform Singapore into an endearing home and a distinctive global city.
