Transport Coordinator
Job details
This role reports to the Assistant Manager, Transport or the Assistant Transport Controller. The Transport Coordinator supervises and monitors the truck drivers' well-being and ensures they are performing in accordance with the delivery schedule and servicing schedule. He/She will have to follow up and manage drivers' attendance and will need to head to different construction sites to monitor and supervise other drivers. Responsibilities: Work closely with site personnel for delivery scheduling Propose alternate solutions in meeting targets if the schedule or work fails to be achieved Attend truck-related court cases when applicable Ensure the proper keeping and maintenance of all trucks Ensure practices and procedures meet legal guidelines and health and safety requirements Ensure safety practices and housekeeping are maintained to the highest standard Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Familiarity with Singapore Routes Ability to work night shifts when assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
