What the role is: You ensure a safe and healthy work environment for employees. What you will be working on: On this, you play a pivotal role in promoting a strong safety culture and advise the Unit Commander on safety management through inputs on the Unit Safety Programme. You also work closely with the Safety Management Team on education, incident reporting, safety investigation and analysis, safety audits and inspections. In addition, you discuss, review and recommend remedial actions for incident occurrences and inspection observations. Your challenges lie in effectively communicating and influencing safety outcomes through strict safety standards, and being meticulous during safety inspections to identify good and bad safety practices. What we are looking for: You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 5 years' relevant work experience in the Workplace Safety field. You must have relevant experience in conducting and developing safety training sessions/programmes. Having WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is advantageous. Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills is essential. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
