CTC (Basic Salary): Annual CTC Package (R 1,662,329.47 – R 1,872,617.81 Negotiable)
Purpose
To direct, administer, and coordinate the NRCS operational areas nationally and play a role in anchoring the organization to realize its full potential by regulating and managing the implementation of its Compulsory Specifications. To provide strategic leadership and management of the following operational areas of the NRCS: Legal Metrology, Foods and Associated Industries, Chemical, Materials & Mechanical, Automotive, Electro-technical and National Building Regulations.Key Responsibilities

- Maintain efficient customer care and Stakeholder Management
- Strategic Management of NRCS Operations

Qualification / Experience
- Post-graduate Degree (Honours NQF Level 8) in Engineering. Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- 7 years' business support/operational management experience in a Senior/Executive management role preferable in a Regulatory environment.
Knowledge
The NRCS act, The Promotion of Administrative Justice Act, External quality management system, Inspection methods, IT literacy, Principles of Corporate Governance, Relevant technical regulations/compulsory specifications, The Trade Metrology Act, The National Road Traffic Act, The Health Act, The Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, Function specific technical knowledge, Relevant products/facilities, Function specific policies, procedures and work instructions, Inspection process, Type examination process, Testing methodology, Relevant software applications, Client relationship management, Client and industry knowledge, Coaching / mentoring.Behavioral Attributes
