Heavy Truck Driver
Job details
Responsibilities:
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
- Ensure the truck is properly loaded and unloaded according to safety regulations.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and transportation logs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in driving heavy trucks.
- Knowledge of local routes, timings, tolls.
- Strong focus on safety and environmental standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
