We are looking to hire an API Platform and Microservices Architect to join our Information Technology Team. As a key member of the Enterprise Architecture Team, you will support a massive technology and business transformation focused on preserving the sustainability of key shared platforms of Commercial Bank and the related governance in order to create the CBQ API Marketplace for Developers on top of Microservices.Key Accountabilities
- Ensure sustainability of platform
- Preserve application development according to patterns and standards
- Experience and knowledge in Microservices, Cloud Services, ITIL, TOGAF
Other Accountabilities
- Kong as a Life Cycle Management Tool (Similar tools: Apigee, Mulesoft)
- Designing APIs & Microservices
- Implement Domain Driven Design (DDD) for microservices
- Support digital transformation by collaborating with Solutions Architects
- Architectural and Platform ownership of the API Lifecycle Management Tool
- Guide delivery and deployment lifecycle of APIs
- Evaluate APIs, Schemas, and functional APIs for sustainability
- Promote best practices for assessing and evaluating business initiatives
- Own the API Lifecycle Management Tool – KONG or similar tools
- Prepare capacity planning for the API Lifecycle Management Tool
- Support Architecture Board IT Initiatives
- Partner with strategic planning and engineering teams
- Interact with external customers and partners
- Participate in design, build, and deployment of platforms
- Develop conceptual and detailed design documentation
- Present various technologies to stakeholders
- Mentor team members in technology and architecture
- Participate in POCs with applications using APIs
- Work closely with IT Operations Service Delivery
- Identify and evaluate new technologies
- Provide technical leadership and set architectural direction
