Senior Manager - Learning and Development

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager - Learning and Development to join our team at Core42, USA. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process for key positions across engineering, product, AI Infrastructure, and other departments, ensuring we attract and hire top-tier talent aligned with our company’s culture and values. As a trusted advisor to hiring managers and a representative of our brand, you will develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition processes. Responsibilities L&D Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement strategic L&D programs aligned with organizational goals, and our culture of high accountability, trust, and high performance.
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analyses (LNAs) across the organization to identify skill gaps and development priorities, ensuring a strong link to Talent Management outputs, such as data from performance management, employee feedback, and organizational surveys.
Program Design and Deployment
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. Division/ Department heads, HC team, etc) to identify training needs and ensure programs enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Develop and deliver innovative, scalable learning solutions, including leadership development, technical skills training, and behavioral programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design engaging learning content, leveraging a mix of formats (e.g., in-person workshops, e-learning, micro-learning, and blended learning approaches).
Build a Culture of Continuous Learning
  • Champion a mindset of continuous learning and growth by embedding L&D into daily work practices.
  • Lead initiatives to promote self-directed learning, leveraging modern learning technologies and platforms.
  • Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and peer-to-peer learning across the organization.
  • Act as an advocate for lifelong learning, encouraging leaders and employees to prioritize their development.
Evaluate and Measure Impact
  • Design and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs.
  • Regularly assess and report on the outcomes of learning initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine learning strategies and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on L&D metrics, outcomes, and future plans for Executive Leadership Team.
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with senior leaders to align learning strategies with business priorities and drive performance improvement.
  • Coach and guide managers on how to support and develop their teams effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with external providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent. Preference for Master's degree holders.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in L&D, encompassing strategy development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful L&D programs, including leadership development and cultural transformation.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to align L&D initiatives with business goals.
  • Expertise in learning technologies, instructional design, and modern adult learning principles.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience in measuring and reporting L&D outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in learning management systems (LMS), other training software/tools, HRIS platforms and standard office software.
  • Proficient in learning technologies, with a strong understanding of immersive tools such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
