Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the chemicals sector, particularly in water treatment, metal treatment, and food treatment.

  3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging trends in the chemicals market.
  4. Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to showcase product offerings and their benefits to potential clients.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and production, to customize solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
  6. Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and achieve set targets.
  8. Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and enhance visibility in the market.
  9. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure compliance and provide informed guidance to clients.
  10. Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or MBAs are a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the chemicals industry, preferably in water, metal, or food treatment.
  3. Relevant certifications in project management or sales (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
  4. Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets in competitive markets.
  5. Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the chemicals sector.
  6. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, particularly in regions of interest.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  9. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track progress and manage customer relationships effectively.
  10. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-oriented mindset.
