Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the chemicals sector, particularly in water treatment, metal treatment, and food treatment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target industries to drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging trends in the chemicals market.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to showcase product offerings and their benefits to potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and production, to customize solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and achieve set targets.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and enhance visibility in the market.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards to ensure compliance and provide informed guidance to clients.
- Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or MBAs are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the chemicals industry, preferably in water, metal, or food treatment.
- Relevant certifications in project management or sales (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets in competitive markets.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the chemicals sector.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, particularly in regions of interest.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track progress and manage customer relationships effectively.
