Job Title: Manager - Machine MaintenanceJob Overview: The Assistant Manager of Machine Maintenance is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities for production machinery in a solar module manufacturing plant. The role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maintaining production quality.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance Oversight:Supervise and coordinate regular preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs for all manufacturing machinery and equipment. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. Monitor and manage the performance of maintenance activities to achieve optimal equipment uptime.Team Management:Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation. Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment among team members. Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to machinery and equipment maintenance. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and equipment damage.Troubleshooting and Repairs:Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of complex machinery issues to minimize production downtime. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or equipment servicing. Key Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment used in solar module manufacturing, including automated systems, conveyor belts, and precision machinery. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Leadership and Management:Proven experience in managing a team, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ability to lead by example and foster a positive and productive work environment.Problem-Solving:Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address complex machinery issues effectively. Analytical skills for evaluating maintenance data and implementing process improvements.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and management. Ability to provide clear instructions and documentation.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, relevant certifications or training in Industrial Automation are advantageous.Significant experience in machine maintenance, ideally within the solar module manufacturing industry, typically 10+ years. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred.Software and Tools:Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools for tracking and managing maintenance activities.
