Should have strong R2R process experience covering all aspects of month-end, quarter end, year-end book closing, and statutory reporting.Good understanding of External reporting & IFRSManagement of financial period close activities within agreed timelines and management reporting.Review of Balance sheet and Intercompany reconciliations.Ensuring completeness and accuracy of intercompany transactions, resolving errors/exceptions.Review of stock accounting and working with terminals/entities on smooth movement of stock.Management of bank securitization process and extensively work with Treasury on fund managementReview and maintenance of Fixed Assets.Follow-up with lines of business and stakeholders for closure of accounting open items.Preparation of quarterly VAT returns - in SAPCompetencies Required: Strong Knowledge of US GAAP and GL Accounting and the process and systemsDemonstrates extensive knowledge and experience in roles leading finance process improvement in Month End Consolidation Process, Close and Consolidation Controls Procedures, Statutory ReportingDemonstrate extensive knowledge and success in identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to the R2R Tower leadDemonstrates extensive abilities and a proven record of success, managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirementsDemonstrate extensive abilities and a proven track record as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.Ability to manage relationships, build confidence in client, strong cultural experience working with Onsite and offshore teamsA proven record of accomplishment as a team leader - supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedbackTechnical Skill Requirements: At least 8 years of deep operational experience as part of the General Accounting and Controllership function including period close, Consolidation and ReportingPrior experience in Big 4 professional accounting firm in statutory audit and exposure to industrial manufacturing will be added advantageKnowledge of SAP and Blackline desiredExcellent communication skills both written and verbalShould have experience of managing an offshore and Onsite team PRB
