About the job System Admin Support Lead (IT)Job Purpose:This position is responsible for maintaining and administering server infrastructure, supporting, maintaining, developing, and monitoring the performance of overall servers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all IT services, particularly the Core Infrastructure.Coordinates with the superior in maintaining and administering Core Infrastructure (server system).Responsible for maintaining and administering Microsoft Windows Servers and Services (AD, DC, FS, CS, Email, and System Center) including other software solutions like Rightfax, SMS, TAS, YMS, etc.Provides periodic IT Audit reports (in coordination with a Senior Team member) related to Core Infrastructure (Server) to the direct superior.Responsible for backing up server data, OS, Applications, and VMs including configuration.Periodically conducts backup restoration tests to ensure that data backups are in good condition and available when needed, especially for disaster recovery.Responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art DataCenter along with the network infrastructure team.Collects and compiles statistics on server usage, layouts, and hardware configuration details and submits them to the direct superior.Maintains up-to-date inventory/records of all Core Infrastructure devices, including voice communications, hardware servers, and storage, upon receipt of materials, including Licensing document details regardless of the products/brands (Microsoft, Cisco, RightFax, Citrix, etc.).Accurately documents instances of software or hardware failure, repair, or installation/configuration.Continuously liaises and coordinates with concerned units on any operational or server changes.Liaises and coordinates with partners for any issues and/or required enhancements related to server infrastructure.Keeps up to date with new technology and plans and implements system upgrades as needed.Keeps detailed documentation of the system configuration and procedures, including server diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals, among other things.Key Skills Required:Security, ITIL, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Application, Hardware Troubleshooting, Networking - intermediate level.
