About the job 2D/3D Motion DesignerOur client is a dynamic integrated branding and creative communications agency known for helping brands establish strong connections with humans. The company prides itself on its unconventional, agile approach and a track record of strategic and customer-focused solutions that span across various industries.They are currently on the lookout for an experienced 2D/3D Motion Designer to join the team in Doha, Qatar.Responsibilities:Creating animated and still 2D and 3D motion graphics for a variety ofplatforms including online, broadcast, etc.Liaising with clients and developing animation from their conceptsCreating storyboards that depict the script and narrativeDesigning models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environmentDeveloping the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirementsBuilding up accurate, detailed frame-by-frame visualsRecording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished pieceWorking to production deadlines and meeting clients' commercial requirementsWorking as part of a broader production team, which might include liaising with printers, copywriters, photographers, designers, account executives, website designers or marketing specialistsPreparing all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formatsEnhancing animation with special effects at post-production stageConceptualize and create visual effects videosQualifications: Degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or relevant field5+ years of experienceKnowledge of 2D/3D and computer-generated animationA strong reel demonstrating exceptional 2D/3D animation skillsProficient in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3DS Max or any equivalent 3D softwareA creative storyteller with presentation abilitiesAbility to visualize abstract conceptsKnowledge of current techniques and trends in animationStrong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skillsAbility to work to a schedule and plan workflows to meet deadlinesStrong command of English is a must, Arabic is a plus
