Test Engineer - Cryptography/Ethernet - Berlin | up to 90k We are seeking a highly motivated Senior System Integration Test Engineer (M/F/D) to join our R&D team in Berlin. This role involves leading regression and integration tests for L1/L2 network devices with advanced cryptography capabilities. Principal Duties and Essential Functions

• Test Planning and Case Design : Develop test plans and detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive system integration coverage for L1/L2 network devices with strong cryptography.
• Test Environment Setup and Execution : Configure, maintain, and execute integration tests.
• Defect Identification and Documentation : Detect, log, and document bugs or issues; collaborate with developers to resolve integration problems.
• Automation and Regression Testing : Implement test automation and conduct regression testing to ensure ongoing functionality throughout development cycles.
• Reporting and Documentation : Provide detailed test reports and maintain documentation of test cases, results, and system behavior during integration.
• Knowledge Center : Serve as a departmental or organizational expert on one or more products or features.

• 3+ years of experience in system integration testing.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Robot, Selenium or similar).
• Strong understanding of optical networking and/or Layer 2 (Ethernet) technologies .
• Knowledge of cryptography ( symmetric ciphers , key exchange , authentication ).
• Experience with Git and DevOps principles ( GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins ).
• Proficiency in Linux and encryption solutions (e.g., OpenSSL ).
