Job title: Commissioning Project Lead-WTS (Electrical) Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience. Location: Barrow in Furness- Onsite Salary: From £45,628+ dependant of skills and experience What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a team of Electrical Engineers in the Weapons Test Section
- Planning and supervising commissioning activities
- Overseeing Electrical Rip outs for the weapons section
- Reviewing and authoring test documentation in relation to the weapons test section
- Reviewing and planning training and development of electrical engineers within the section
- Deputising for the weapons Managers in their absence and act as temporary lead, covering all weapons section meeting
- Be a signing member of the weapons test group
- Liaising with other test departments to ensure safe control of work
- Good knowledge of either Sonar, Navigation, Command Systems or external communications systems from either commissioning or maintaining experience
- Good understanding of installations and final installation inspection process of weapons electrical systems
- Ideally experience of spice, SAP or P6
- Good understanding and experience of Safe Systems of Work
- Experience of reviewing electrical and weapons technical documentation and drawings
- Previous Team leader / Supervisory experience
- Ideally have a min of HNC in an Electrical Engineering subject
