Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling hardware purchase assistance for our customer schools, managing post-sales services, and ensuring smooth operational processes. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of hardware procurement, and the ability to provide exceptional post-sales support. Responsibilities: Hardware Procurement Assistance: Collaborate with schools to understand hardware requirements and budget constraints. Research and identify suitable hardware options, initiate procurement processes, and manage vendor negotiations. Create and manage purchase orders. Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hardware vendors. Ensure timely delivery of hardware and address any post-sales issues. Post-Sales Support: Coordinate post-sales services, including installation, maintenance, and warranty support. Act as a liaison between schools and vendors to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of hardware purchases, post-sales activities, and service requests. Generate reports on procurement activities, expenses, and post-sales service metrics. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics for the delivery, installation, and post-sales support of hardware. Track shipment statuses and address any delays or discrepancies. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning for hardware procurement and post-sales services. Monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in hardware procurement and post-sales services. Implement efficient workflows to enhance overall operational effectiveness. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and school administrators. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of hardware procurement projects and post-sales activities. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in hardware procurement and post-sales services. Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee the integrity of hardware purchases and services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in hardware procurement, logistics, post-sales services, or operations. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in using procurement and inventory management tools. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
