E-commerce Designer & Web Developer (Shopify, WordPress, PHP, Laravel)

We are looking for a talented E-commerce Designer & Web Developer with strong skills in web design to join our team located in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have expertise in platforms like Shopify and WordPress, backend development using PHP and Laravel, as well as a keen eye for aesthetic web design and user experience. You will play a key role in both the technical and creative aspects of developing and maintaining e-commerce platforms. Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites using Shopify, WordPress, PHP, and Laravel. · Customize Shopify themes, WordPress plugins, and other frameworks to meet specific client or business needs. · Build scalable and secure backend solutions using PHP and Laravel. · Integrate APIs for payment gateways, shipping services, and other third-party applications. · Manage databases and ensure optimal website performance. · Develop responsive, cross-browser-compatible websites with a strong focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). · Optimize websites for fast loading speeds and mobile responsiveness. · Create aesthetically pleasing web designs aligned with the brand’s identity and target audience. · Design engaging layouts, banners, and interactive elements using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools. · Focus on seamless navigation and intuitive user interfaces to enhance customer satisfaction. · Conduct usability testing and implement feedback for continuous improvement. · Design custom graphics, icons, and visual elements for websites and marketing materials. · Create wireframes and prototypes for client or team approval. · Develop and implement e-commerce functionalities, including Product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout flows, and order tracking. · SEO tools, analytics tracking, and marketing automation plugins. · Regularly test and debug websites to ensure smooth performance. Requirements: · Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as Web Developer within E-Commerce platform in Kuwait. · Strong knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, and WooCommerce. · Proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel. · Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. · Ability to integrate APIs and third-party tools. · Proficiency in web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator. · Strong understanding of UI/UX principles. · Experience creating responsive and mobile-first designs. Other Skills: · Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). · Understanding of SEO best practices. · Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
