About the Role Join us as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to oversee cost, revenue, and profit centers, while maintaining financial systems and processes. You'll support sales reporting, forecasting, and commission payments, providing financial assistance across LexisNexis UK. Responsibilities
- Perform monthly variance analysis and ensure any issues are understood by finance and business partners.
- Calculate, process, and validate system maintenance changes including budget restatements and creation of new cost centers.
- Assist with the calculation and processing of commission payments.
- Create and disseminate insightful analysis of commissionable sales performance.
- Assist with sales reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities based on performance and pipeline.
- Help formulate the development of annual sales targets to meet revenue objectives.
- Demonstrate education to degree standard, achieving a 2:1 or above.
- Demonstrate progress working towards the accounting qualification (ACCA or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in a specialist area with the ability to deliver results.
- Ability to utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths, weaknesses, and identify potential strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
