We are currently looking for a SCADA Operative to join us at our ASOS site in Barnsley on a full time, permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for monitoring all operational activity of the conveyors, elevators, sorters and CCTV equipment. You will be working a fixed schedule from Sunday to Thursday , with shifts starting at 06:45 and ending at 15:15. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £25,630 per annum, and 232 hours annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). - Monitoring all operational activity of the conveyors, elevators, sorters and CCTV equipment
- Work closely with the engineering and control room teams to quickly resolve any issues
- Monitor, gather, and process real-time data by working on operational fault diagnostics, alarm reporting and resetting of some common errors
- Retrieve and maintain daily data reports, input new operational data to allow for a clear shift handover
- Confident user of computer systems, Microsoft packages and especially excel
- Natural problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task, monitor multiple screens and systems at one time and flag issues
- Some flexibility around shift patterns and working hours may be needed on occasion
