Job Description: Community Manager – NConverge Foundation Location: Hyderabad Preference: JNV Alumni About NConverge Foundation: NConverge Foundation is a not-for-profit Section 8 organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) alumni. By creating a robust network of changemakers, we aim to empower JNV alumni to drive impactful growth and build a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Community Building & Engagement: • Develop and implement strategies to foster a vibrant and supportive community of JNV alumni entrepreneurs. • Act as the primary liaison for alumni, facilitating connections, partnerships, and collaborations. 2. Event Management: • Plan, organize, and execute entrepreneurship-focused events, workshops, and startup pitch sessions. • Coordinate the annual startup awards event to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions from JNV alumni entrepreneurs. 3. Mentorship & Resource Coordination: • Identify and connect JNV alumni entrepreneurs with mentorship, funding opportunities, and other resources. • Facilitate access to knowledge-sharing platforms and tools to support alumni in their entrepreneurial journeys. 4. Communication & Outreach: • Manage communication channels such as newsletters, social media, and event updates to keep the community informed and engaged. • Promote success stories and initiatives of JNV alumni entrepreneurs to inspire and encourage participation. 5. Partnership Development: • Build and maintain relationships with relevant organizations, industry leaders, and educational institutions to expand resources for the foundation. • Collaborate with external stakeholders to support the growth of JNV alumni-driven startups. 6. Data Management & Reporting: • Maintain accurate databases of JNV alumni, startups, and community activities. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and prepare regular reports for the foundation’s leadership. Qualifications & Skills 1. Educational Background: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Social Work, or a related field. 2. Experience: • Minimum of 2-3 years in community management, event coordination, or a similar role. • Experience in entrepreneurship support or working within a startup ecosystem is preferred. 3. Key Skills: • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Proven organizational and event planning capabilities. • Proficiency in using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and community management software. 4. Preferred: • Alumni of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV). • Passion for entrepreneurship, social impact, and community development.
