MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide overall strategic direction and leadership for the South African Legislative Sector Support Office and is responsible to facilitate the development and implementation of Legislative Sector strategies and frameworks in collaboration with the South African Legislative Sector (SALS). Also responsible for the delivery of capacity building programmes for the Legislative Sector and the effective operation of the Parliamentary Institute. This role is also crucial to drive and oversee the governance, strategic alignment and coordination of relevant legislative sector forums and related activities. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Public Management / Public Administration / Business Management / Project Management or related qualification at an NQF level 8
• 10 Years’ relevant Public Management experience, of which at least 5 years having been in a senior leadership position in a medium to large size organization.
