Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding on medical, health sector and pharma companies
- Exceptional writing and research skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data with doctors, surgeons and health policymakers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, interest in finding stories related to health, medicine, science and research and deveopment
- Post Graduate diploma in journalism, advertising and public relations or master's degree in journalism
- Experience in journalism or business reporting
- Willingness and ability to track small and big Indian pharma companies and hospital chains such as Apollo, Max, Fortis, Narayana, Medanta, Yashoda, Wockhardt, Cipla, Torrent, Sun, Johnson and Johnson,
- Track expansion of foreign brands like Novartis, Merck, Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi, Astrazeneca and Roche
- Track health insurance companies such as HDFC Ergo, Religare, Star and so on to understand patients cases
- Sit with video editors to explain special stories, investigations on complex topics or investigations in market trends
