Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Training and Placement Officer in an engineering college located in Karnataka.
- At least 3 years of experience working with an industry body such as CII, ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM , IESA etc
- Establish and sustain professional relationships with companies, startups, and organizations to secure internship and placement opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to understand their hiring requirements and align placement processes to meet those needs.
- Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives, interviews, and placement activities.
- Identify skill gaps in students and recommend targeted training programs to enhance employability skills, including communication, technical, and soft skills.
- Organize workshops, mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and aptitude training sessions for students.
- Provide career counseling and mentorship to guide students in identifying suitable career paths.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with students to understand their aspirations and tailor placement efforts accordingly.
- Assist students in developing professional resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios.
- Maintain accurate records of placement activities, student data, and job offers.
- Prepare detailed reports and analyze placement statistics to assess success rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to build professional contacts and stay updated on industry trends.
- Facilitate partnerships with external trainers, mentors, and industry experts to deliver guest lectures and skill enhancement sessions.
- Ensure adherence to established placement policies and guidelines.
- Provide regular updates to the management team on placement statistics, student performance, and industry collaborations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in placement and training functions.
- Established network within the corporate and industry sectors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate events efficiently.
