Logistics Specialist (Import)

Job Description

• Supply Chain Management:
  • Plan and execute logistics strategies to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery of goods, including route planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
• Vendor and Carrier Coordination:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with service providers.
  • Evaluate and select transportation partners based on cost, service, and reliability.
• Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
  • Keep accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
  • Cargox experience 
• Problem-Solving and Communication:
  • Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or disruptions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Provide regular updates on shipment status and inventory levels.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement changes based on analysis to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
• Very good English Language 
• 4 Years of experience with a good work record. 
• Experience In related industries
