DevOps Engineer

Leveraging our extensive technology, data, and over 100 peer-reviewed studies, we are developing digital programs aimed at treating, monitoring, and rehabilitating cognitive and neurological conditions. We are on the verge of launching our first digital therapeutic product, aimed at treating adult ADHD, following the successful completion of clinical trials. In 2024, we are poised for significant growth with:

• The rebuild and relaunch of Lumosity on a new tech stack.
• Regulatory clearance and the commercial launch of our ADHD digital therapeutic.
• Expansion of our research platform, supporting internal and external research collaborations.

Lumos Labs is headquartered in San Francisco, with key operations expanding globally, including in Bangalore. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a DevOps expert with over 4 years of experience in infrastructure management and a proven track record of handling high-traffic systems. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)/ AWS Certified Solutions Architect/ AWS Certified Developer/ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and have in-depth knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, and Pulumi, and experience in designing secure, scalable AWS-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing security best practices, and utilising container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, and Pulumi
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance
• Lead network design and architecture, ensuring secure and efficient infrastructure setups.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure to safeguard systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Architect and design scalable infrastructure solutions that meet both current and future business requirements.
• Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor infrastructure performance, set up alerts, and identify key metrics to ensure optimal system operation and uptime
• Manage and maintain container orchestration and autoscaling tools like Kubernetes and AWS ECS
• Utilize serverless architecture, including AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions, to deliver scalable and cost-effective solutions
• Perform load testing and analysis to ensure system reliability and performance during peak traffic conditions.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
• Proven experience managing high-volume traffic systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate effectively across departments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
