As a Staff Engineer you will contribute to the development and evolution of our cutting-edge data integration platform. You'll be instrumental in design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of high-performance, scalable, and robust data integration systems. Responsibilities:
- Architect and Develop: Design and implement scalable data integration solutions that seamlessly connect diverse data sources.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our core product, tackling complex challenges and exceeding customer expectations.
- Code for Impact: Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor and Lead: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Stay Ahead: Research and adopt emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve our product.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of software development experience in an enterprise setting.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, Go, or C++.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data integration patterns, and cloud-based architectures.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with popular open-source data processing engines (Spark, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent).
- Expertise in developing concurrent and non-blocking systems. Experience in Distributed file systems, Non Blocking IO, Database replication/backups, Distributed cache, streaming platforms, query engines etc
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
